Mr Yunfang Tong was born in 1948, graduated from university, he is an advanced economist. He used to work in Hangzhou steel group's planning department, finance department, managing department and vice leader. Now he is the CEO of this group.

  In 1972, Mr Yunfang Tong  began to work in the group as a normal staff, a young man being encouraged by the "steel spirit and serve the people". 30 years has past, being a leader of the 10 miles factory, directed his factory to advance position in market economic surf. In 1998, he rang the Shanghai stock exchange bell, "Hangzhou steel stock" formally come into the market. In 2001, the year production of the group reached 2,100,000ton, sales income 7.3billion, profit 0.48 billion, being national steel company's top 10 for a continuous 5 years.
